One place for all data
All information and data available to Redlink came from a multitude of different documents through various channels. Everything was, as well as possible, kept up-to-date manually in the web shop, the ERP system and via 2BA.
There was a clear wish to centralize all data in one place and make it accessible via the web shop, giving customers easier access to extensive knowledge.
Search for an equal PIM partner
The search for a suitable PIM system began, and that's how Skwirrel came into view via 2BA. Where Redlink is proactive, thinks in technical solutions and keeps developing itself, they saw the same values and drive in Skwirrel. The choice was made quickly and the implementation phase got a similar flying start.
Custom AFAS integration
For Redlink it was a logical and necessary choice to integrate with the ERP package AFAS. Initially the integration with AFAS Online's getconnector is fairly standard, but the configuration is fully custom.
In Redlink's case we built a fetch action for price and assortment data, and a send-back action for the first image from the PIM to AFAS Profit. Redlink then uses that image in the warehouse scanning process.
More visitors and orders
Skwirrel has now been implemented for quite a few years, and that saves a tremendous amount of work. All data sits in one central place and is distributed via Skwirrel to all channels.
The Magento integration simplifies entering and adjusting product data, where even bulk changes are possible. As a result, the web shop automatically contains complete, accurate and current data. This directly led to an increase in both visitor numbers and orders.
Jeroen, in our view, is the perfect person for a PIM system. He's technical and can translate that well to us as a customer. He regularly takes the time to check progress and keeps lines short. When challenges come up, he comes with the solution.
