Why 2BA is baked into our technology

When Skwirrel started in 2017, the first question we got from nearly every customer was: "how do we get into 2BA?". The answer was almost always: manually, in batches, with errors, with delay.

We built Skwirrel so that 2BA publication is not a separate exercise but a natural consequence of maintaining your product data. You work in Skwirrel. Skwirrel makes sure 2BA is correct.

What we technically do with 2BA

• Bi-directional synchronization — Skwirrel publishes articles, prices, properties and attachments to 2BA, and pulls validation feedback back at the article level.
• ETIM-mature — Skwirrel classifies in full ETIM features (no loose free-text fields). 2BA accepts that without mapping work.
• GLN and GTIN management — guarded for uniqueness, with structured validation against 2BA's rules.
• EPD/environmental data — product-specific environmental declarations are sent via the right 2BA fields for environmental impact.
• Multi-GLN for multi-brand — multiple brand GLNs? Skwirrel publishes per GLN separately, with the correct assortment cuts.
